In Louisiana, the center has come to represent the interests of video bingo. But lobbyist Alton Ashy, who also represents video poker and bingo was some interest, said the video bingo issue was debated in the past three years – and nothing would be gained by doing it again.

“Local governments are able to do away with it, at any time,” said Ashy. “And gaming interests, I do not want, because only cars would be moved to other parishes. Results are not something anyone wants to face.”
