The FireKeepers Casino has opened its doors to the public for the 1st time. Bryan Wilmington has arrived very soon saying he was one of the 1st patrons inside the casino. He claimed that he just could not wait for the opening of the casino, but when it happened, he went directly to a machine and started to play on.
There are hundreds of people who are ready to play at the casino, people who are there on their first day of operation. Michigan residents are waiting this moment for a long time.
The casino‘s atmosphere consists of air themes, wind and fire, according to Laura Spurr, the Chairwoman of the Nottaswaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi.
The casino is behaving great with smokers as well as with non-smokers. Michigan was the worst hit by the economy, but it even has hired around 1,500 more employees.
It is believed that this casino will have more than 100 million dollars each year with 100 table games and more than 2,600 slots.
